Bornwerk was founded in Dortmund in 2026 — because we wanted to build Terminz and meant it seriously: a product that solves a real problem and stays.

The roadmap follows the product, not the loudest voice in the room. No client can buy features that don't belong in the product. We decide what Terminz becomes — and we live with the consequences.

Why Bornwerk

Focus as abusiness model.

Most software teams spread across too many projects. That makes each one worse — because context has a cost and switching drains energy. We chose against that.

Today, all our energy goes into Terminz. Every bug we fix, every feature we build makes the same product better — one we know all the way down.

That's not a philosophy. It's how we make sure the product is actually good.

Servers, team, contracts — all in Germany. Not as a marketing claim, but because it makes a real difference to our users.

Privacy from day one

GDPR isn't an add-on bolted on after the fact. In Terminz it's part of the architecture — from the start, not on request.
